7 Days to Die gets a game-changing update with Storm’s Brewing

Storm’s Brewing is the newest update for the zombie survival game 7 Days to Die, and it’s one that really changes the game.
One of the highlight changes is the new Dynamic Storm System. This replaces the old weather system with one that is a lot more menacing across five different types of storms, but four of them are in specific biomes only. There’s also a new Biome Progression system that have unique environment hazards to overcome. Biomes were also tweaked for their resources, giving you more of a reason to explore each of them for ore.
A whole lot more is new including an update to the Navezgane map, two new special infect zombies, zombie spawn improvements, the perks system has seen a bit of an overhaul, plus various optimizations for trees and foliage.
There’s also been a big expansion to the point of interest system, with around 140 new places to explore.
On top of that there’s new Discord integration, cross-play for dedicated servers, more footstep audio variety, new perk sounds, NVIDIA DLSS upscaling support has been added and so on.
A whole lot more can be seen in the release notes.
