The Beloved Duck Detective Is Getting a Sequel, Both Games Paddling to PS5 in May

If you’re a fan of silly, short, animal-based detective games, you’re in luck. The latest of these heading to PlayStation is Duck Detective, with both the original game and the recently announced sequel coming to PS5 soon.

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami and Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping will both arrive on 22nd May 2025. A trailer for the latter is embedded above.

These games star you as the titular waterfowl as you explore, look for clues, and interview suspects. You’ll have to inspect them as well as any evidence you find to piece together what really happened.

Like other mystery games, there’s an element of filling in statements with the right words as you learn more information.

Each game runs around two to three hours in length and they don’t look particularly taxing, so we suspect these will be great, breezy things to play between bigger titles.
