Beelink Unveils Powerful Mini PCs, GTR9 Pro/AI, Equipped with 16-core/32-thread Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU for Powerful Computing
Chinese manufacturer Beelink has added two more mini PCs to its catalog, now delivering the fastest Zen 5-based processor to cater to the needs of enthusiasts. The new mini PCs are called GTR9 Pro and GTR9 AI, each of them boasting the flagship Strix Halo, Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor.
This processor brings a Zen 5-based 16-core/32-thread configuration, a powerful Radeon 8060S integrated graphics, and up to 126 TOPs of performance for AI workloads. The PCs are ideal for executing intensive workloads without consuming a lot of power and are highly portable due to their small footprint. The GTR9 Pro/AI mini PC can also act as a budget AI server due to its powerful specifications, which include 128 GB of RAM capacity.

While detailed specifications are yet to be disclosed, the mini PCs should be competing with other Strix Halo-based systems since the core specs appear to be competitive with what we have been seeing in the past few weeks. The GTR9 Pro/AI mini PC supposedly also brings the latest connectivity, including USB4 ports, and one should expect Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 4 for wireless internet and peripheral connectivity.
As per Beelink’s catalog, the GTR9 Pro/AI mini PC will be the most expensive offering yet. The mini PCs cost 12,999 Yuan, which is equivalent to around US$1,799, and are roughly twice as expensive as Beelink’s SER9 Pro AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 mini PC. This was expected since most mini PCs with Ryzen AI Max processors are over $1500, bringing the mini PCs into the enthusiast segment.

Considering the recent PC hardware launches, which are equipped with Strix Halo processors, it appears that PC manufacturers prefer manufacturing mini PCs with these chips more than manufacturing laptops. This might be because Strix Halo-based systems cost too much, and manufacturers probably prefer equipping gaming laptops with a mid-range CPU paired with a budget/mid-range discrete GPU to keep the cost lower.
Nonetheless, more and more mini PCs with Strix Halo chips have been hitting the shelves recently. PELADN YO1 was one of the most recent ones, which brings identical specs to the GTR9 Pro/AI mini PC.
