The BTF ecosystem is expanding at Computex, and one big name that’s adding new products to this is Sapphire. The company is showcasing its own PhantomLink connector-based solutions, which feature the 600W interface. This connector is the same one that ASUS has used on several of its own BTF products, and Sapphire has done a great job in supporting this standard with its own solutions.

The two main products within the Sapphire PhantomLink lineup are the Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro+ graphics card and the Nitro+ X870EA Wi-Fi PhantomLink Edition motherboard.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro+ PhantomLink Edition graphics card features a triple-fan and gold-colored cooling solution with a clock speed of up to 3060 MHz. The graphics card also has a 16-pin connector on the back too, which is stealthily hidden beneath the backplate, which features a magnetic lock.

As for the motherboard, the Sapphire Nitro+ X870EA Wi-Fi PhantomLink Edition is an ATX form-factor design which features four DDR5 DIMM slots for up to 256 GB capacity support, three PCIe slots including 1 PCIe 5.0 x16, two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots, and four M.2 slots of which two are Gen5. There are also 4 SATA III slots on the board.

As for IO, the board offers 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a single USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port on the front panel, while the back includes 2 USB 2.0, 4 USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 4 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, and 2 USB 4 Type-C ports. There’s also a single LAN port, 2x Wi-Fi antenna connectors, and 2 audio jacks. Sapphire also includes a One-click Clear CMOS and flash BIOS button on the rear IO.

In addition to these, Sapphire is also launching some mainstream and budget-friendly designs in the B850 and B650 range. These include the Nitro+ B850M Wi-Fi, PULSE B850MP Wi-Fi, the PULSE B650MP Wi-Fi, and a non-Wi-Fi solution. In total, Sapphire will have six new mainstream options for users to select from. Sapphire also showcased its Radeon RX 9060 XT solutions, which include the Nitro+ minus the PhantomLink port and the standard PULSE variant.

Lastly, there’s the Sapphire Edge AI series, which features the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series APUs and offers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance while offering excellent specs in this form factor. The rest of the specs include 16 GB DDR5 memory, 1 TB NVMe SSD, and a lot of IO ports, all of which are powered by a 120W adapter.

The PC itself measures 117x111x30mm and comes with a removable top, which grants you access to the internal memory and SSD. These can be upgraded up to 96 GB & 4 TB, respectively, and the magnetic cover has a tool-less design, making it very convenient for users. Sapphire was also giving us a look at discrete NPU cards that could be added to this Mini PC to further boost their AI capability by up to 130 TOPS.
