Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 introduces Ultron as a formidable new Strategist who has the potential to change the game’s competitive scene completely. This mid-season update, as detailed by NetEase, includes a bunch of new content, including the AI villain’s appearance, a new Arakko map, and significant balance tweaks.

Ultron, known for his chilling charisma, debuts as a hybrid support hero with both healing and damage skills. His arsenal includes a long-range Encephalo-Ray for sustained damage, drone-summoning skills to help allies, and an ultimate, Rage of Ultron, which unleashes AoE chaos, healing teammates while annihilating enemies. His unusual flying abilities, along with Iron Man’s piercing Unibeam, make him a useful tool for dive-heavy formations.

Six new Team-Ups accompany Ultron’s entrance and nerfs aimed at meta giants such as Spider-Man and Groot, resulting in a dynamic shift in gameplay. However, just before release, players have noticed that devs nerfed Ultron already, and the community is devastated.

Marvel Rivals has already nerfed Ultron’s health right before its release

Marvel Rivals players like Leading_Elk9454 have noticed a major change with Ultron in recent pre-release streams of Season 2.5. In the two images they shared, the first one was taken as a snapshot from the trailer, and the second one was taken from the actual gameplay streams.

The images clearly show that the advertised 275 health for Ultron in the trailer has been nerfed down to 250 in actual gameplay. The player said, “Sad to see because I definitely think he will need the extra health.”

Soon players who noticed this change turned in their thoughts, where one wrote, “I hope they revert this before launch. His healing numbers already look weak, and he’s very killable in his ult. At least 275 HP will keep him from being erased out of the sky by any hitscan character instantly.”

Another chimed in, “He already got nerfed lmao. Seriously, this makes no sense. He doesn’t have self-healing and is vulnerable due to being a flyer. 275 seems just right.”

While it isn’t confirmed if Ultron will actually release with the advertised health or the nerfed 250 health, it will only be revealed when Season 2.5 arrives on May 30th.
