Raw Fury Reveals Two New Games, Trailers for Craftlings, Esoteric Ebb at The MIX Summer Game Showcase

Raw Fury has shared a look at the company’s upcoming PC releases during The MIX Summer Game Showcase. Their reveals included the world premieres of Monsters Are Coming! Rock & Road and Regions of Ruin: Runegate. Along with those, we also got a new look at Craftlings and Esoteric Ebb with new trailers.

Monsters Are Coming! Rock & Road is a combination of tower defense and horde survivors-like game from developer Ludogram. In the game, players must protect a city that’s in constant movement as a dark legion tries to approach it. It’s up to you to gather resources and use them to protect the city, making sure it endures the attacks as much as possible.

While the game has no release date yet, it now has a Steam page for wishlisting and a Closed Beta test will open later in June. To have a chance to join in, interested players can fill in a form that asks a few questions to understand their profiles.

Meanwhile, Regions of Ruin: Runegate is a new PC (Steam) game that follows up on the original 2018 title by Gameclaw Studio. Just like the first Regions of Ruin, this is a hack-and-slash RPG focused on exploration with a 2D sidescroller style.

As a lone dwarf, the player will have to face many dangers to restore hope for the dwarven civilization in the form of a haven. Their former land is expansive, filled with resources, and will force the player to face relentless enemies along the way. In the reveal video, we get a closer look at the resource-gathering, fighting, and rebuilding aspects.

Settlement Management and a Digital Tabletop RPG

Besides the brand-new announcements, the event also brought a new gameplay trailer for Craftlings from developer ARIANO Games. While the game is reminiscent of the classic Lemmings at first glance, it adds strategy elements related to building settlements. That means players will have to assign tasks to the individuals and try to be smart about how they explore the map.

In the new trailer, we get to see how the different resources we may use impact the way the craftlings interact with the environment. Good play will allow them to survive the many dangers hidden in these areas and become a prosperous community.

While Craftlings doesn’t have a release window yet, it’s possible to get a closer look at the game thanks to a new demo available now on Steam. It includes a revamped tutorial, a new level and various updates to the previous content from the original release.

The last game Raw Fury showed during the event was Esoteric Ebb. Adapting a tabletop-like experience like an isometric CRPG, the game promises a ton of choices in an “Arcane-punk” setting. As a cleric who’s just one of the many people working in the city of Norvik, you strive to be a legendary hero while looking into the mystery of an exploded Tea Shop.

In the new video, we get a closer look at the protagonist and the layers of the gameplay. Focusing more on the narrative aspect of role-playing, the game allows the players to adjust stat distribution and, depending on your choices, this may significantly impact the paths available.

Esoteric Ebb is currently being developed by Christoffer BodegÃ¥rd and doesn’t have a specific release window. Players interested can wishlist the game on Steam.
