Rise Of The Deceiver From Brass Lion Entertainment Revealed

Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver is a new co-op action game with anime-style fighting from developer Brass Lion Entertainment and is presented in collaboration with rapper and original member of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah.

You play as someone who Ghostface Killah has called on to save the home world of the Wu-Tang clan, Shaolin, by finding the missing members of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Currently, Rise of the Deceiver is only listed to release on PC, though it’s always possible that console releases are added at a later date.

The short teaser trailer only provides a small clip of what gameplay will look like, but what we do see makes it clear that Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver will be a highly stylized game with some pretty excellent music to go along with your adventure.

We’ve heard reports that Brass Lion Entertainment was working on a Wu-Tang Clan-based game for years now, and most recently, last year, with a claim that all the original members of the Wu-Tang Clan would be playable in Brass Lion Entertainment’s Project Shaolin.

Now that we know the story for Rise of the Deceiver is to find missing members of the Wu-Tang Clan, it would make sense that as we find the missing members, we also get to play as them, and try out different combat styles compared to what we start with as the game’s protagonist, who we currently don’t know much about.

What we do know for sure, is that Rise of the Deceiver supports three-player co-op, and that so far, it looks like it’ll be a game to keep our eyes on.
