If you’ve played any FromSoftware game, like, ever, you’ve seen just how fast players will discover absolutely game-breaking exploits for the studio’s games. As it turns out, the studio’s multiplayer co-op game—which still doesn’t have duos—is no different as players discover a brand-new exploit to clone weapons and talismans.

Elden Ring Nightreign dupe glitch

Just like every dupe glitch in every game ever, except for maybe Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow, the item duplication glitch in Elden Ring Nightreign is, well, a bit of a chore to set up. However, once you have it down, you can share any weapon or talisman with your friends to start crushing bosses.

Via PCG, the setup is simple, but you will require a full team of three to do it, and everyone has to be quick on the draw. (Time to make or break some friend groups with this one.)

Firstly, the session host needs to drop an item that every player wants on the ground, and the other two players need to pick it up at the exact same time. If this is done correctly, both players should have a version of the item in their inventory.

This works exactly the same on talismans as well, allowing a full team of three to quickly share the best items in the game to take on a boss. It’s very simple, but will require a few attempts to actually get working, and if one of your friend group is a dunce who’s half-paying attention while watching TikToks or whatever useless slop they feed into their brain, it’ll take all day. Yeah, I hope you are reading this.

The first player to discover this glitch appears to be YouTuber Malik the Raven, who also figured out how the game’s bizarre rating system works. In the two weeks since, the glitch has yet to be patched out, which is pretty good for us.
