Amazon Announces Dates for Paradise, Valkyrie and Strike Raid for Lost Ark

If there’s one thing Lost Ark is good at, it’s consistency. The Korean MMORPG that was released in the west three years ago has seen consistent patches every single month, and Amazon has done an exceptional job as of late with their communication regarding changes and additions.
With the start of every season, Amazon gets ahead of things and announces what they have plans for the next three months, giving players a sneak peek at the exciting changes and additions they can expect. For summer 2025, Amazon waited until July 1 to reveal their big plans.

July
A month of quality of life improvements
If there’s one month out of the three that looks like it’s going to spin heads, it’s July. The recently announced Paradise progression system will be making its debut this month, something that we expected to get much closer to the end of the year or even into 2026. This will have three stages: Elysian, Crucible and Hell. The first is a wave-based system where you can get Paradise-exclusive gear to upgrade, Crucible is a 1v1 boss/trial and Hell is a 100-floor dungeon.
On top of Paradise, an Aegir Solo Mode has also been added, along with adjustments to reduce the difficulty of the current solo mode raids. The Mokoko Bootcamp will also be making a return for players under 1690 and now includes up to Brelshaza normal.
Outside of that, here are some of the highlights: Una tasks have been overhauled, transferring completed Una dailies to weeklies, the most up-to-date balance patch will be implemented (up to June in Korea), improved storage of outfits, allowing you to try on ones you don’t have, Tripods and Epic engravings have been removed, bound gems have been added, and the UI has been reworked with the new Party Finger Lounge.
August
The long-awaited Valkyrie warrior class
While July is one of the more impressive months for Lost Ark, August will be an update a lot of players will be anticipating. This is because the big highlight of August will be the new female warrior class, Valkyrie. Originally dubbed Female Paladin, this class will be a hybrid that will have a very active support build and a very competitive DPS build, as well. We will also be getting a number of progression events during this time, along with a “legendary class gift.”
The only other thing in August is the long-awaited Prestige Shop. This is known as the Mileage Shop in Korea, and it rewards players for spending money in the game. The more Royal Crystals spent, which can only be obtained by swipping, the more points obtained to spend on cosmetics such as skins and MVP backgrounds. Best yet, this is retroactive, so Amazon will track how much a player has already spent and dish out the rewards right away.

September
A new limited raid series
Last but not least is September, where we have a new limited-time raid called Assault – Rimeria. This is the Strike Raid in Korea, putting us up against an Abyssal Beast. This will be separated into two different categories: 8-player raids and 1-4-player raids. The former will give out big RNG rewards and counts towards a gold earner, while the latter will be more like a Guardian raid event where you earn tokens that can be exchanged at a shop.
The eight-player raid has a 1680 normal and 1720 hard mode restriction, while the 1-4 player event is 1660 normal and 1700 hard.
The next three months are incredibly stacked with some very exciting improvements and additions that Korea only just recently received. Even looking ahead, Amazon has confirmed that Q4 2025 will be when the next major Kazeros raid launches, battling against the Lrod of the Abyss himself.
