Time Flies in This Hand-Drawn PS5 Adventure About an Annoying Bug

Ever wondered what’s on the bucket list of a house fly? No us neither, but it’s clearly been a point of interest for developer Playables.
Its new game, Time Flies – which adopts a Microsoft Paint-style hand-drawn art direction – will see you completing the bucket list of an everyday bug. And you’d be surprised how long it is!
The press release morbidly muses:
“Learn an instrument, read a book, become rich, get drunk, or make someone smile. And if you don’t feel like pursuing your goals, you can just relax, clean your wings, and listen to music. Make the best of the time you have left, because we’re all going to die.”
The game will launch on 31st July for $14.99, with a 10% discount available upon release.
“Flies are pretty annoying, and we’ve been listening to one every day for the past four years of game development,” notes developer Michael Frei. “Please do your part and Wishlist the game now, I really need therapy.”
Of course, video games about annoying pests aren’t exactly new: Mister Mosquito also saw you assume the role of a fly on the PS2, and it’s one of the most iconic adventures on the console.
We’re not expecting the same tier of quality from this title, but it’s an undoubtedly interesting idea.
