Limbo and Inside are getting delisted from GOG

GOG have announced that Limbo and Inside from studio Playdead are being delisted, so you might want to grab them while you can.
The announcement GOG made didn’t go into details and just said:
Hi everyone,
I’m sorry to inform you that Limbo and Inside will be removed from our store on July 17th, 2025, 3 PM CEST.
We don’t have any information on discounts yet.
Wish I could have better news for you, but grab it while it’s still here!
Why? We can only speculate at this point but it’s likely related to the ongoing legal spat between Playdead and co-founder Dino Patti.

Back in March, Patti posted on LinkedIn to note “My old partner has threatened me with an IP lawsuit because I used a publicly available picture, in a linkedin post 3 months ago, of the game LIMBO that we created at Playdead together” and that Patti would make it public if it continued (which it obviously did). The post showed the latest legal threat letter that Patti had received.
According to an article from 80.lv, Playdead followed up with an actual lawsuit against Patti in June.
No word if the games will be removed from other stores but it’s entirely possible.
