Mortal Kombat II movie trailer has been released, out October 24th

The release date for Mortal Kombat II, the movie not the game, has been confirmed as October 24th and the official reveal trailer has been released too. This is a follow on to the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie which sees new character Cole become involved with the battle between Earthrealm and Outworld, with Cole’s own history entwined in the rivalry of Sub Zero and Scorpion. Mortal Kombat II takes place directly after the events of Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Kombat II is being directed by Simon McQuoid, who previously directed Mortal Kombat. Jeremy Slater is credited as the writer, and he has previously worked on The Umbrella Academy, Moon Knight, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, The Exorcist TV series, and the 2015 Fantastic Four movie.
