PS4 Set to Lose 2020 RPG as the Game Is Scheduled for Delisting

A PS4 tactical RPG based on a popular IP, that released in 2020, may be getting delisted from the PS Store.

PS4 tactical RPG Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times set to be delisted soon

That game is Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times. Developer Perchang announced that it would be removing the game from Steam. As the game doesn’t rely on any online functionality, players who purchased the game can still enjoy it.

“Unfortunately we’ve had to take the decision to remove Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times from Steam,” says the statement from Perchang. “We hope you’ve enjoyed the game! Warhammer Quest 2 does not rely on servers so anyone who has already bought the game should be able to continue to enjoy it. Thanks for Playing!”

While there is no official word if the PS4 version would be delisted, it does seem inevitable. A user on PSN Profiles points out that the first game was delisted on PlayStation earlier this year.

“Explore the war-torn fantasy Warhammer world! Be on your guard as you travel through a world in turmoil,” reads the game’s description. “The road holds danger for the heedless traveler, but rich rewards for the wary hero. Explore three regions, each with their own enemy sets, objectives and multi-part campaign quests. When Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times was originally released in 2017 for mobile devices, it garnered average scores. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 71 across 8 critic reviews. This seems indicative of what players thought, as the Steam reviews are also “Mixed,” with 59% of reviews being positive.
