Leaked Pixel 10 Series’ Dimensions Suggest Subtle Design Tweaks, Heavier Build, And Possible Battery Boost Ahead Of Google’s Big August 20 Launch Event

Google is gearing up for its next Made by Google event to be held in August, mainly unveiling its flagship Pixel series. Many speculations about the upcoming Pixel 10 models have emerged, giving away quite a few details about the devices and leaving little to the mystery. However, the dimensions have remained under the hood up until now. Besides the previously hinted color options that could make their way this time, a new leak has now emerged that reveals the full dimensions of the four models, and we have some major insights into the upgrades that the new phones will be packed with.
Dimensions leak suggests that Google’s entire Pixel 10 lineup would be heavier, hinting at possibly bigger batteries
The expectations have been that Google would not bring a major overhaul for its Pixel 10 series and would continue focusing on intermittent improvements resembling its predecessors. However, that does not seem to be the case, as a new leak gives away the full dimensions of each one, and it seems like they would be bulkier than expected. Android Headlines has shared the complete specifications of the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold, and although the change is not drastic, it is still enough to be noticeable.
If we see the overall design of the upcoming Pixel 10 series, they do echo last year’s models; however, there is a slight difference in both the size and the weight of the devices, which potentially points towards either better cooling or bigger batteries, making the phones heavier than the previous ones. Here are the leaked measurements:
Pixel 10
Google plans to keep the standard model compact, although ergonomically, it would be slightly heavier. It would weigh 204g and measure 152.8mm tall, 72mm wide, and 8.6mm thick.
Pixel 10 Pro
The Pro model would not be much different from the standard model in terms of size, standing at 152.8 x 72.0 x 8.6mm, but relatively bulkier, standing at 207g. The increased weight could be due to more premium build or even the camera hardware used on the phone.
Pixel 10 Pro XL
Those who are looking for the ultimate flagship phone experience would be interested in the size and weight of the model that will come in. It is said to stand 162.8mm tall, 76.6mm wide, and 8.5mm thick. Not only would the model be the largest one of the series, but also the heaviest, as the slab-like phone is said to weigh around 232g.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold is said to stand out due to its unique form factor. Still, the model would be impressively thin when open, as when you unfold it, it will stand only at 155.2 x 150.4 x 5.2mm. When folded, it would be around 155.2 x 76,3 x 10.8mm. The weight will also be on the higher end, standing at 258g.
These details have yet to be officially confirmed, and until Google issues a statement, the leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. Although the dimensions do not mark a dramatic improvement from their predecessors, they represent modest upgrades. The Pixel 10 series is expected to launch on August 20th, and more details will emerge as the launch date approaches.
