Accessible Golf is back with EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS

During the PlayStation State of Play, Bandai Namco announced it was bringing back one of its more storied franchises that goes under the radar. Known as Everybody’s Golf in Japan and Hot Shots Golf in America, it appears that Bandai Namco just merged the name for its latest golf game. This brand new entry is known as EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS will bring improved graphics while maintaining the same art design as the previous games. It will launch on September 5 for PlayStation 5 and can be pre-ordered now, digitally. The Nintendo Switch and PC will be getting versions, as well, with pre-orders coming later.
Staying True to the Formula
This franchise has heavily relied on its fun gameplay that is based around the classic three-button shot mechanic. This series has been heavily accessible for anyone interested in playing golf. A variety of game modes will be available in the latest game. Players can jump in on Challenge Mode, Solo Play, local couch co-op and online multiplayer.

Courses will be inspired by ten different countries and regions. EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS will introduce dynamic weather and time-of-day changes for added depth. A new Wacky Golf mode will feature unique obstacles and challenges. Those who pre-order early will also unlock Pac-Man as a playable character. The game will have the largest roster of characters in the series along with customization options.

Players can expect to golf during snow and rain for the first time. The only other game to ever do night golf was a previous EA SPORTS Tiger Woods game, until now. EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS will have specific time-of-day with the option of playing under the stars. The latest version is specifically a release for the latest generation of consoles to help push more visuals.
This series has been a PlayStation staple for three generations and is still worth powering on a Vita to play. This series stands the test of time, but will be hitting other platforms outside of PlayStation for the first time. While online mulitplayer has been announced, nothing about crossplay has yet to be confirmed. More information can be kept up with at the official website here. The original Everybody’s Golf released back in 1997 for the original PlayStation. The latest was the VR version on PlayStation 4 back in 2019.
