Astro Bot PS5 Update Adds Square Enix Love, Trophies, & Levels
A new Astro Bot update has been released, bringing brand-new content to the award-winning PlayStation 5 platformer. This includes five new levels that house new bots, much of which are affiliated with some of the most beloved Square Enix games.
Anyone who doesn’t want to be spoiled by who the new bots are should check back after playing the new content.
New Astro Bot update adds fan-favorite Square Enix bots
The newly released Astro Bot update was announced in a recent PS Blog post, which gave the names of four of the five new levels that will be part of the Vicious Void Galaxy. As seen in the new trophies, the new levels are named Twin-Frog Trouble, Suck It Up, Handhold Havoc, High Inflation, and Megamix Mastery.
The post regarding the new Astro Bot update also teased new Special Bots for each stage, and gave the first look at the Atsu bot based on the protagonist from Ghost of Yotei. The rest of the new bots are based on fan-favorite Square Enix characters that PS5 players will certainly enjoy.

For all the trophy hunters out there, there are five new trophies for PS5 players to collect. All of these are tied to rescuing the bot in the five newly added stages. Here are the five new trophies coming with the Astro Bot update:
- Springy Rescue (Bronze)
- Slimy Rescue (Bronze)
- Hanging Rescue (Bronze)
- Pumping Rescue (Bronze)
- Impossible Rescue (Silver)
