Danganronpa Creator’s Switch, PC Game World’s End Club Poised for PS5 Port

World’s End Club, one of the games Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka made after leaving Spike Chunsoft, is on its way to PS5, as revealed by a PS Store wishlist page. The port itself hasn’t been confirmed by IzanagiGames just yet, but with the title already live on the digital storefront, it’s assured this is happening.
A more lighthearted take on the visual novel genre, World’s End Club matches platforming with its storytelling to tell the tale of an afterschool kids group trapped in a “Game of Fate”, after a meteor hits the Earth. You could wishlist the game through the link.
Upon its original launch on Nintendo Switch, the game managed an overall score of 62 on Metacritic, with our sister site Nintendo Life awarding it a rather disappointing 5/10. “World’s End Club has some good ideas and a lot of heart, but it ultimately doesn’t come together as anything particularly notable,” the outlet concluded. “Though World’s End Club looks and sounds great, the monotonous platforming sections and hit-and-miss storytelling really drag the overall experience down.”
