Dead by Daylight May 2025 roadmap so far – FNAF PTB release, anniversary livestream, new survivor and more

Dead By Daylight has had an excellent 2025 so far. Right now, players have limited-time remaining to claim a total of almost 3 million Bloodpoints from the Blood Moon event, meanwhile, we are on the cusp of finally learning more about the DBD x Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter that will release in June. While not much has been revealed yet, here you will find the Dead By Daylight May 2025 roadmap so far including the FNAF PTB, anniversary livestream, release date for new survivor, and more.

Below is the Dead By Daylight May 2025 roadmap so far:

• Chaos Shuffle – April 29th – May 6th
• New Survivor Orela Rose release date – May 6th
• 8.7.0 update – May 6th
• Anniversary livestream at PAX EAST – May 9th
• FNAF PTB – expected May 27th

For the beginning of the month, DBD fans will be able to enjoy the return of Chaos Shuffle, and its end will be marked by the arrival of new survivor, Orela Rose, on all platforms. Fans on PC have been able to enjoy the Chapter 35.5 PTB, and this has put a spotlight on the perks for Orela Rose.

The arrival of Orela Rose comes in-conjunction with update 8.7.0. This is a massive update that will see challenges replaced by quests, and it’s also when a new surrender option and more will be added. Check out the 8.7.0 PTB patch notes for more details.

BeHaviour Interactive is conducting their yearly anniversary livestream, and this time it is confirmed to be happening at PAX EAST. The yearly anniversary livestreams are always exciting, but this yearly is arguably the most anticipated as it is when the developer will officially lift the curtain on what awaits in the Five Nights At Freddy’s chapter.

Lastly, the FNAF PTB is expected to happen on May 27th. This date isn’t official, but BeHaviour Interactive’s community manager, Eric Pope, has revealed that the PTB is coming out “later in the month” after the anniversary livestream. Dvveet has pointed to May 27th as an educated guess, too, but right now said date isn’t official, although the PTB is arriving in May.

Public-test builds typically drop on Tuesday, so the possible dates for the Five Nights At Freddy’s demo include May 13th, 20th, and 27th. Hopefully we will learn the official date during the anniversary livestream.
