Dragon Lands is Forager meets a creature collector and it looks real sweet

One now on my radar is Dragon Lands, a sweet looking mixture of an incremental game about creature collection, farming, crafting and automation.

The developer noted in an email they think it’s like a mixture of the game Forager and To The Core for the basics but with creature collecting too. That idea alone had me sold pretty quickly. They mentioned clearly in their email that Steam Deck is a supported platform for the game. So it should run with no problems on Desktop Linux with Proton too.

Highlights:

  • You will start by gathering and collecting resources, from common stone and wood, to rare gems and even dragons! Use them to unlock and craft new buildings, skills and more.
  • Collect Dragons with unique abilities. As you progress through the game, you will use them to automate your farming and production.
  • Experiment with a vast crafting system to create tools, buildings, magical items, and more. Uncover rare recipes and push your production to the limit!
  • Explore the upgrade skill tree, learn new abilities and level-up your Dragons.
  • This game takes inspiration from masterpieces like Forager, Nova Lands, Outpath, To The Core and Nodebuster!

It’s quite some ways off though with a release planned for Q2 2026.
