Elon Musk Admits He Previously Resisted AI, But Now He’s All In; Signaling Fiercer Competition Ahead with His AI Firm xAI

Elon Musk reveals that he’s all in with AI, and that with the AI firm xAI, he has apparently set up massive plans ahead, becoming a top contender in the segment.
Elon Musk Looks Geared Up To Capitalize on The AI Bandwagon Since He’s Apparently Out of the Denial Phase
The AI space is definitely heating up with the competition we are seeing, especially since Big Tech, along with AI startups, are involved in the race to grow the technology to new levels. And now, Elon has revealed that the hype is “serious” and instead of resisting AI, he’s actually going to integrate it into every aspect of his business. In a tweet on X, the billionaire quoted a post where NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang appreciated the pace at which Elon’s team managed to build up a supercomputer, and we’ll talk about that ahead as well.
NVIDIA’s CEO claims that what Elon is doing with AI is “singular” and something never done before, although on this occasion, he was talking about xAI’s pace of deploying large-scale AI clusters. Jensen claims that the supercomputer gets functional in a four-year timeline, but Elon’s team managed to do it in just 19 days, which is simply shocking, and it shows the dedication running through the workforce in terms of scaling up AI technologies, and in particular, enhancing the abilities of the Grok AI model.

Elon hasn’t been a fan of AI for quite some years now, and some of his older conversations on the technology have labelled it as “summoning the demon” or a “double-edged sword.” However, his mind has changed, apparently, once he saw the scale of the AI hype and how massive the demand currently is. Elon was also a co-founder of OpenAI, so he knows a lot about what artificial intelligence actually is all about. For now, Musk is leading with his xAI startup, which has managed to create the Grok LLM, which is one of the most popular AI models out there.
Elon plans to integrate AI across all his companies, so he has tagged SpaceX, Tesla, and xAI in the same post. We recently saw Grok getting integrated into Tesla mainly for entertainment purposes, and SpaceX has recently invested $2 billion in xAI as well, showing that artificial intelligence is the next big thing for Elon and his businesses.
