FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) games return to NACON

After the news recently that EA Codemasters were pausing development plans on future rally titles, we now know who will continue the series with it being back with NACON.

NACON are no stranger to the series, with them now owning KT Racing (Kylotonn) since 2018 who developed multiple entries in the series from WRC 5 to WRC 10 and WRC Generations. Their new license gives them control from 2027 through 2032 and they will now begin developing an all-new WRC game series that will have official rallies, vehicles, teams, drivers, and sponsors and will be a “complete reboot of the franchise”.

This new venture marks a major milestone: a fully reimagined project driven by a passionate and specialized team, with a clear ambition to elevate rally games to new heights.”
