The next Fortnite update is set to arrive on Tuesday, July 15. This will be the first update in nearly a month, as Epic Games went on a summer break. The first major update of Chapter 6 – Season 3 dropped on June 18, and after a long drought, it’s time for another patch. Epic has already revealed some of the things that will come on Tuesday, including another map change.
Superman has played a big role this season, and he is now a playable character. In addition to this, the Man of Steel has a skin in the Battle Pass, along with several matching accessories. However, this is not everything, as Epic will release Superman’s POI with the next update.
The next Fortnite update will bring a Superman POI
The recent blog post by Epic Games reveals a new map change that will come with the v36.20 update. The new place is called the Fortress of Solitude, and it seems that it will be located in the southern part of the island. The game developer also revealed that Superman will be located in this location, and he will offer his services in exchange for Gold Bars.
Additionally, Epic may introduce more map changes leading up to a potential season-ending event. While the event hasn’t been officially confirmed, several prominent Fortnite leakers speculate that a smaller-scale event could take place during the final week of the season.

Since the upcoming Fortnite update will be massive, we expect Epic Games to add new cosmetics, items, and balance changes. After all, this will only be the second major update in more than a month, which is extremely rare for Fortnite.
The current Fortnite season will be one of the shortest, as it’s set to end on August 7. Initially, Epic planned to conclude it on August 8, but the ending date was changed in late June.
