Genshin Impact Goes Theme Park in Colossal PS5, PS4 Update

Our favourite events in HoYoverse’s gacha games are the ones where you get to temporarily do a bit of business management, so you can bet Genshin Impact’s new amusement park minigame is going to bring us back to Teyvat.
While the highlight for most players will surely be the new Archon Quest Interlude – which, surprisingly, will take Travellers back to Monstadt – it’s the new Fontaine theme park that’s caught our eye.
“Through managing three main attractions – Eclectic Escapades, Movie Masterpieces, and Mellow Manor – players can grow their park by upgrading facilities and improving Service Value by recruiting and training employees,” the official press release reads.
Of course, there’ll be lots of familiar faces appearing throughout the event, including Navia and more.
We’re also excited for new character Escoffier, a Fontaine chef who will have the capabilities to seriously enhance your Hyrdo and Cryo teams. She’ll be joined in the first phase of the update by 4-Star newcomer Ifa, who fights alongside his saurian companion, Cacucu.
There’s honestly so much in this update that we’re struggling to condense it all, but you can look forward to an avalanche of minigames, as well as a really cool new Weekly Boss Challenge featuring a unique chess board-style system. It’ll all get underway from 7th May.
