High on Life 2 adds skateboarding to the barmy FPS sequel

Squanch Games has revealed High on Life 2, a sequel to the chatty gun shooter from 2022. It’s coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass.

So, what’s happening now in this weird intergalactic shooter? Here’s the blurb:

An intergalactic conspiracy threatens the fate of humanity! Team up with a wide cast of talking alien guns as you shoot, stab, and skate your way through the exotic locales to take down the bad guys and save your favorite species (humans)!

Back in our review of the original, I said, “High on Life is a conflicted game. On the one hand it’s a solid shooter that often feels like more than the sum of its parts, and comes with an engaging art style and ideas, but the sense of humour is just so subjective that it’s hard to recommend to anyone that isn’t a die hard Rick and Morty fan.”
