Blade is the next hero to join the impressive roster of Marvel Rivals characters. He will be the 22nd Duelist and the 41st hero overall. The daywalker is set to come out with the release of Season 3.5 on August 8. While it’s still too early to draw conclusions, Blade’s kit might already be overpowered.

Earlier this year, Blade’s abilities were leaked, showing how versatile he is going to be. More recently, another Marvel Rivals leak showed his Team-Up ability, which might make him one of the toughest heroes to deal with. Blade’s Team-Up will work in synergy with Cloak & Dagger and Moon Knight.

Recent Marvel Rivals leak shows the true power of Blade

According to Blade’s leaked abilities, he will be a versatile hero who can deal damage from both close and medium range. In addition to this, the vampire hunter will also be able to block incoming damage and apply debuffs to his enemies. Blade will also have lifesteal, which will drastically increase his durability on the battlefield.

A video from RivalsInfo on X (formerly Twitter) shows another ability Blade will get. While it was previously leaked that he would have a Team-Up ability with Cloak & Dagger, it was unknown what exactly it was. Now, it turns out that he will join the Lunar Force Team-Up with the Strategist and Moon Knight.

As the video above shows, Blade will be able to become invisible while teamed up with Cloak & Dagger. This will allow him to surprise enemies and also escape from a tight situation.

The video also shows a 10-second invisibility with an 11-second cooldown, which is way too overpowered. Due to this, it’s almost certain that the ability will be changed before the hero comes out. To put it into perspective, Moon Knight has the same ability when paired with the Strategist, and it lasts six seconds, while its cooldown is at half a minute.

It’s important to note that Blade’s abilities are subject to change. With Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 set to come out in early August, NetEase has enough time to adjust Blade’s stats and balance him.
