There are quite a few Xbox console exclusives that have made the leap to PS5 since last year. Some of the best include Hi-Fi Rush, Indiana Jones, Sea of Thieves, and Forza Horizon 5, and soon PlayStation users will finally be treated to Gears of War. There are rumors of more Xbox console exclusives coming to PlayStation, and a renowned leaker claims Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 has a “2025 target” for release on PS5.
Leak claims 2025 release for Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 on PS5
There have been rumors in the past of Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 coming to PS5, and renowned leaker, NateTheHate, has claimed it is happening. Not only will it reportedly land on Sony’s current-gen machine, but NateTheHate claims the release timeline they were given is a “2025 target”.
In addition to a 2025 release, Nate speculates that it might be close to the game’s one-year anniversary. Microsoft Flight Simulator 24 came out on November 19th, 2024, so that’s presumably the timeframe alluded to by the leaker.

NateTheHate is one of the most credible and renowned insiders, and their recent track record includes precisely leaking the Oblivion remaster as well as unearthing accurate details about the reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 before it happened.
There is no official announcement for MFS 24 coming to PS5, so we will have to wait and see if it happens. It would be a fantastic addition to the PS5 library as the game is beautiful and there’s nothing else quite like it.
Away from Microsoft Flight Simulator, NateTheHate has also briefly commented on persistent rumors of Starfield coming to PS5. The insider said that although the “Timing of announcement & release may have changed,” the game will “definitely come to PS5”. Again, this is only a leak and rumor rather than anything official as of writing.

In other PlayStation meets Xbox news, Forza Horizon 5 is the highest-selling PS5 game of the year.
