No Man’s Sky Beacon is another huge free update

There seems to be no stopping Hello Games with updates to No Man’s Sky, with the Beacon update now available free.

Bringing a huge overhaul to the settlements system with you now being able to become Overseer of up to four settlements, each with their own unique set of citizens and challenges. This also includes new systems to keep track of each settlement, along with their happiness and a little bit more visual flair for events. There’s even new rare robotic Autophage settlements to find.

Also added in this release are weathered construction materials, deeper settlement management to bring more depth, settler personalities, customization, a squadron defence system for settlements, new options for your Exosuit voice, more resource production options, Intel XeSS, player voice options, more varied settlement raid attacks and so much more.
