Outgunned Adventure brings pulp adventure stories to the Outgunned TTRPG
Free League Publishing announced that a new genre book for Outgunned is now available. This new book, Outgunned Adventure, brings the pulp genre to the Outgunned TTRPG world:
Free League Publishing and Italian game studio Two Little Mice (2LM) are thrilled to share the new cinematic RPG Outgunned Adventure, inspired by pulp adventure films and made for the acclaimed Director’s Cut RPG system. Outgunned Adventure is the first “genre book” in the Outgunned line, and can be played either as a standalone or as an expansion for Outgunned.
The Outgunned Adventure core rulebook is now available in the Free League webshop and in hobby stores worldwide alongside the Mission Dossier: Fall of Atlantis three-part introductory campaign and the Outgunned Adventure director screen, which features helpful summary tables for the Outgunned Adventure rules.
In Outgunned Adventure, players take on the role of brave adventurers in search of an invaluable treasure. Much like the other Outgunned installments, it’s a race to thwart a villain and save the day. Always outnumbered. Always outgunned.
Crowdfunded in Summer 2024, Outgunned Adventure exceeded its fundraising goal of €10,000 by raising €482,202 from 3,490 backers, unlocking every stretch goal for additional content and supplementary items.
Outgunned Adventure features a game system called Director’s Cut, a set of mechanics using small pools of six-sided dice to determine the outcome of the Heroes’ actions. When rolling dice, your goal is not to score the highest or lowest possible number, but to roll two-, three-, and four-of-a-kind.
Making your Adventurer in Outgunned Adventure is as quick as it gets! Simply choose a Role and a Trope, and you are ready to go. But don’t worry, there will be plenty of time to further customize your Character during the game, and no option or Feat will be out of reach, no matter your Role.
Thanks to the unlocked stretch goals, in Outgunned Adventure you’ll find 10 new Roles:

- The Hunter: Tracker, Guide, Big Game Hunter
