Palia lays out the future of what’s to come

After the explosion that was Palia’s first major expansion, the Elderwood, Singularity 6 promised a roadmap of what’s next for Palia. And here it is!

It includes the previously mentioned Animal Husbandry that’s coming later on this year, but we will also be getting more Elderwood storylines and even a new Adventure zone in the future!

Radiance Rising (Patch 0.192)

Our next patch 0.192, the Radiance Rising update introduces dynamic events, offers fresh quests, a free Pet, and more. Here’s a quick look at what’s blooming:

You didn’t think Elderwood was the end, right… RIGHT?!! We’ve started planning some longer-lead mechanics, features, and areas that we’re incredibly excited about. While we’re not ready to go into a whole lot of detail, the team is rallying to ship some larger-scale gameplay initiatives down the line, including Shared Housing, and… the next Adventure Zone!!!

We’ve teamed up with the Microsoft Gaming Accessibility Testing Service to run a deep-dive audit of Palia. Their mission: spotlight the most pressing accessibility gaps, map out a clear workflow for our development team to address, and guide us toward adding features that truly move the needle for players. The first wave of fixes ships with the Radiance Rising update, with even more improvements queued up for the patches that follow.

Final Thoughts

From Piksii bouncing to raising your lil’ Ormuu baby from infant to “state fair” champion, we’re so excited to continue delivering the promise of Palia.

We hope the first edition of Palia Path gives you a better sense of what’s on the horizon, what’s nearly ready, and what we’re dreaming about long-term.
