Phantom Blade Zero Looks Utterly Outstanding in Over 20 Minutes of PS5 Gameplay

Chinese developer S-GAME has been cooking.
At its S-PARTY event in Beijing earlier today, the developer showcased over 20 minutes from its upcoming action RPG Phantom Blade Zero, captured on standard PS5 hardware.
The video, uploaded above, showcases the sheer variety of weapons in the upcoming action RPG, which makes for some intense combat encounters.
The release appears to be blurring elements from Soulslikes and traditional character action games, making for a unique blend. For example, you still appear to have a stamina metre, but the pace is frenetic like a Devil May Cry.
The dev has reiterated on multiple occasions that this game isn’t a FromSoftware rip-off, and it will have four different difficulty options for you to choose from at launch.
While the environment art is a little bland, the sheer amount of enemy types and combat options is blowing our minds a little bit. We also seriously love some of the counter and parry animations throughout the video.
