Playgrounds Productions CEO Lindsay Barnett tells us Pablo and Backyard Sports are BACK in 2025!

If you grew up in the 90’s and 00’s, you’ve probably played a Playground Sport game on the PC. Sometimes they even had these games in Elementary Schools (at least, mine and a few other close friends did).

From Backyard Baseball to Backyard Football, Soccer, Hockey, and Basketball; these games did a great job of teaching the basic rules of a sport without taking itself too seriously. This wasn’t a simulation game, this was a entertainment educational game.

Now, over a decade later, Lindsay Barnett stepped into the the shoes of CEO of Playground Productions in order to bring these games back to the forefront of gamers minds.

During our interview, we spoke about everything from her journey from Elementary School Teacher to CEO, the impact of the Playground Sports franchise, and more!
