PS Plus Extra, Premium June 2025 Game Announced

The first PS Plus Extra and Premium June 2025 game has been confirmed in a developer update. Remedy Entertainment held a livestream yesterday, where it announced that its upcoming shooter FBC: Firebreak will release on June 17, landing on PS Plus day-one.

PS Plus June 2025 game FBC: Firebreak is one of two upcoming day-one titles

With FBC: Firebreak dated, indie shooter Abiotic Factor is the only PS Plus day-one title left that has yet to receive a console release date. However, its release isn’t too far off as we have a launch window of summer 2025.

As for FBC: Firebreak, Remedy’s dev livestream offered players a closer look at one of the in-game jobs called “Paper Chase,” where “Sticky Notes go rogue.”

As previously announced, FBC: Firebreak is a three-player co-op first-person shooter set in the Control universe. The game will release for the PS5.

“As a years-long siege on the agency’s headquarters reaches its boiling point, only Firebreak — the Bureau’s most versatile unit — has the gear and the guts to plunge into the building’s strangest crises, restore order, contain the chaos, and fight to reclaim control,” reads an official description.

FBC: Firebreak isn’t free-to-play, so PS Plus Essential users will have to pay $39.99 if they want to join the fun.
