PS4, PS5 Remaster of Beloved Vita JRPG Is 25% Off on PS Store
The PlayStation Store’s July sales promotion will last for one more week, allowing PS5 and PS4 players to grab some great games at solid discounts. This includes this beloved PS Vita JRPG that was recently remastered for modern PlayStation consoles.

Available for PS5 and PS4, Freedom Wars Remastered is currently 25% off on the PS Store. This brings its price down to $29.99 from its typical $39.99 price tag. Players will want to act fast on this deal if they want to take advantage of it. The offer ends on July 17 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
“In a distant future where all resources on earth have been depleted, being alive is a sin by itself,” reads the game’s description. “As a sinner sentenced to one million years in prison, you must volunteer in dangerous operations to reduce your prison sentence and fight your way to freedom.”

When Freedom Wars Remastered was released earlier this year, it received decent reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 73 across 27 critic reviews. When we reviewed the original in 2014, we gave the game a 7 out of 10.
“For a consumer base so hungry for unique exclusives as my fellow PS Vita owners, Freedom Wars is a welcome addition to the system’s library,” reads our review. “I’d be hard pressed to call it an amazing game, but those willing to accept its faults and enjoy a solid grind will absolutely get their money’s worth.”
