Radeon RX 9070 XT Dominates GPU Market In Germany; RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Also Sells Decently While 8GB Edition Flopped Hard
AMD is still winning with its flagship RDNA 4 GPU, but NVIDIA is catching up fast with its latest 60-class offering.
AMD RX 9070 XT Sells Over 350 Units in a Single Week on Mindfactory, Followed by RX 7800 XT with 165 Units and RTX 5060 Ti with 140 Units; RTX 5060 Ti 8GB Remains Absent
The Radeon RX 9070 XT is perhaps the most successful AMD GPU in recent history and continues to dominate the market in some regions. Even though the card currently retails for a significantly higher price than its announced MSRP, consumers have no other option but to choose it over the more expensive RTX 5070 Ti.
This is exactly what the latest Mindfactory stats reveal, which has sold 355 units of Radeon RX 9070 XT this week. It has previously dominated the charts as well and continues to do so even after the RTX 5060 Ti has entered the game. It is still too early to predict the share in the coming weeks, but the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB is doing quite great, even though it launched roughly two weeks ago.

Mindfactory is one of the biggest German stores, and while it doesn’t accurately showcase the whole picture, it gives us a sneak peek into what users are currently opting for. As one would expect, the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB edition flopped hard and didn’t even sell 10 units in the whole week. In roughly two weeks, it sold just over 10 units, while the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB edition sold over 250 units since launch at minimum.
The GPU overshadowed the sales of all other RTX 50 series GPUs, probably because the 70-class cards and above are quite heavy on the pockets. However, the RTX 5080 enjoys good sales with 135 units being sold this week. The remaining RTX 50 series cards trail behind them, with each selling fewer units in descending order. That said, the RX 7800 XT is surprisingly one of the most successful cards from the previous generation, probably due to being more affordable than the RX 9070 series while featuring 16 GB of VRAM.
As we move forward, we see 8 GB GPUs becoming obsolete, and if this is how it went for the 8 GB RTX 5060 Ti, a similar fate likely awaits the RX 9060 XT 8 GB card as well. Another surprising takeaway from this week’s stats is that users are preferring the Intel ARC B570 and B580 over the RTX 4060 Ti, which is once again an indication that VRAM capacity is a key deciding factor these days.
