Seven New Cars Headling Early Access 2 for Assetto Corsa EVO

Developer Kunos Simulazioni released Assetto Corsa EVO Early Access back in January and while there was some surface-level appeal to get acclimated with the cars and the physics, there wasn’t much above that. Fast forward to May, and the game will receive its biggest update with version 0.2, or EA2 for Early Access 2. The game is still slated to fully release by the end of the year, but those interested can purchase early access with a special promotion on Steam for 20% off. This new update will bring some cars and some tracks as it is due to release sometime on May 7th on Steam.

Additional Cars Providing Additional Variety

Through a variety of posts, it is apparent that players are getting a good boost of content here. Seven new cars are highlighted by the Maserati GT2 as the car maker made its triumphant return to GT racing. The rest of the cars will be road cars with the headline being the Lotus Exige V6 Cup. Players can jump into some classics including two Alfa’s. The Alfa Fomeo Giuliua Sprint GTA and the 75 Turbo Evoluzione will bring some raw power in small form factors.

The three other cars come from the 1990s with the Honda NSX-R, the rare car that was developed with assistance from Formula One legend Ayrton Senna. The original Mazda MX-5 North American version will also be included in the update. Capping off the cars in EA2 will be the Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6. You will have access to these cars at two addtional tracks with Donington Park being added along with Circuit of the Americas.
