The Switch 2 is out now, there’s a bunch of big game releases, and then there’s Summer Game Fest thrown onto the pyre for good measure! Did you watch the show last night? No? Capcom played the game very well through SGF last night, teasing Resident Evil right through to the end of the show. Bravo!

Over in review land, we had a motley assortment of gaming experiences:

And Dom reviewed the Corsair Void Wireless V2.

OK, so it’s a bit weird, but we had a last minute Mario Kart World preview, just days before we could go fully hands on… and just stream a bunch of it. We wrapped that around unboxing the Switch 2, with a our full review in the works still, but Dom opined that the new eShop is perhaps the system’s best feature.

Elsewhere, Dom twiddled with Dig Dig Dino on Playdate and shared his impressions of the tactical horror game Nightmare Frontier, I got the inside scoop on the Seasons of the Worm Cult expansion for Elder Scrolls Online, and Tuff went hands on with RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business.

Oh, and Jim checked out the Nioh 3 alpha test demo, coming away fairly impressed with Team Ninja’s latest take on the Soulslike.

And rounding out the week, What We Played featured the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World and Fast Fusion, and also Death Stranding 2!
