Sony Buffed PS5’s Wishlist, But It’s Been Broken for Weeks Now

We live in an era where most PS5 trailers end with a call to action, either asking you to pre-order a title or at the very least wishlist it until more information is available.
Recently, we’ve even seen publishers make public declarations of popularity involving the wishlist activity around their title, such as Resident Evil Requiem which revealed it had been wishlisted over a million times across PS5 and Steam.
But up until last April, the PS Store’s wishlist utility was needlessly restrictive, preventing you from adding more than 100 games.
However, in a stealth update, the manufacturer improved the capacity of this feature, increasing the cap up to almost 200 games, per our testing.
But for anyone exceeding the original limit, the feature has been broken for some time now. Every time we try to load our wishlist on the console itself, we’re greeted with a list of blank tiles which never properly load – and we’re not alone.
To be clear, the wishlist still works as intended on the web-based store and in the mobile app, but if you’re trying to shop through your system and you’ve exceeded the limit, then you’re out of luck – unless you use the Welcome hub widget, which inexplicably still works.
