Sony First-Party PS4 Exclusive Apparently Being Pulled From Sale

An underrated 2014 PlayStation exclusive game’s PS4 version has been pulled from sale on the PS Store in a large number of regions. Players noticed over the weekend that Entwined — which also released on PS3, PS Vita, and is playable on PS5 — can no longer be purchased.
PS4 version of PlayStation exclusive Entwined is part of PS Plus, but might not be for long
Developed by the now-defunct studio Pixelopus, Entwined was previously given away as a PS Plus monthly game and is currently part of PS Plus Extra.
However, we can confirm that it’s no longer available for purchase on the U.S., U.K., and European PS Stores, giving rise to fears that Sony plans to delist the game altogether.
Entwined is still available for purchase on the Japanese PS Store, but there are reports that it’s been pulled from the PS3 store as well. Since we don’t have access to a PS Vita, we can’t confirm if Entwined can be purchased via the handheld’s barely-functioning store.
As a reminder, only those who purchased Entwined or claimed it via the monthly collection can still access the game if it’s delisted. PS Plus Extra and Premium users will no longer be able to play it, should that happen, once it leaves the catalog.
We’re not sure why Sony would delist Entwined, though. At the time of this writing, Concrete Genie — Pixelopus’ second and final game — is still available for purchase (and it’s a great game). The studio was shut down in 2023.
