Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 developer Saber Interactive has teased a brand-new video game following the launch of its massively successful 40K game.
Saber, which is a massive company working on games across the world, is already working on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, John Carpenter’s Toxic Avenger, a new Avatar: The Last Airbender game, Turok: Origins and Space Marine 3.
While the studio already has a tonne of announced projects in the works, the company is also teasing another new game, and it looks very much like some kind of horror game.
Saber Interactive announces new game
Announced on social media, Saber’s potentially horror-themed new game will be announced on July 22, 2025. In fact, the company has also registered the website july-22-2025.com to prepare for the reveal later this month.
At the time of writing, the website simply displays a black screen with the following text: PM 1:00 UTC Jul. 22, 2025. Every now and again, this text will be replaced with the flashing footage of the number “55”.
Saber has also posted a video on social media of 1990s-era camcorder footage of a room with a flashing CRT television. While the TV glows, screams and shouting can be heard in the background. The studio hasn’t revealed any official information of what the new title’s gameplay will be.
There’s no additional confirmation on what this game will be. It’s not known if the game is a new IP or some form of adaptation. However, even without confirmation from Saber, it seems obvious that the new game is some form of horror title.
Saber’s next developed title is the exciting World War Z VR, a new PC and Meta Quest conversion of its popular Left 4 Dead style co-op game. The VR title releases on August 12, 2025.
