Street Fighter’s Dhalsim Is, Like, Super Sexy Now

Dhalsim is among the most famous faces in Street Fighter’s roster, but we don’t think we’d ever describe him as hot.

His spindly limbs, skull necklace, and – in Street Fighter 6, at least – thick white beard make him more mysterious than mouth-watering. (Depending on what you’re into, of course! No judgement here!)

In Legendary’s upcoming live action adaptation, though – he’s hot. Hotter than a yoga flame. Hotter than… Well, you get the idea.

That’s because Commando star Vidyut Jammwal has been cast as the character, according to a Deadline report.

It’ll be the actor’s Hollywood debut, and sources claim he’s picked the role to introduce himself to American audiences very carefully. To be fair, you can’t get much cooler than Dhalsim really.

That means the weird and wonderful cast for this film now looks like the following:

• David Dastmalchian as M. Bison
• Jason Momoa as Blanka
• Roman Reigns as Akuma
• Callina Liang as Chun-Li
• 50 Cent as Balrog
• Orville Peck as Vega
• Andrew Schulz as Dan
• Cody Rhodes as Guile
• Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim

We still don’t actually know anything about the movie’s plot, but we do know Bad Trip’s Kitao Sakurai is on deck to direct.

We must be getting close to a complete cast at this point, but it’ll be interesting to see if series stalwarts like Zangief, E. Honda, Cammy, and more join the roster as well.
