Summer Game Fest 2025 is finally here! We just recently had a State of Play from Sony, and it was a decent enough event that showed some fun-looking games such as IO Interactive’s 007 and Konami’s Silent Hill F. While State of Play was eventful, Geoff Keighley’s show should be much bigger. Here you will find the Summer Game Fest 2025 start time countdown along with confirmed games and some exciting leaks that may or may not come to fruition.

When does Summer Game Fest 2025 start?

The start time for Summer Game Fest 2025 is 2PM PT/5PM ET/10PM BST on June 6th. This is confirmed on the event’s official page.

How to watch Summer Game Fest 2025

You will be able to watch Summer Game Fest 2025 live on either YouTube or Twitch. According to the show’s official X account, it will be a “2 hour live show,” so make sure to get a bunch of snacks ready and get comfortable on the couch.

Exciting leaks

We can’t cover all the potential leaks for Summer Game Fest 2025, but we are able to focus on some of the most exciting. Arguably the most anticipated leak is the reveal of Resident Evil 9. MP1st reported that it will be “revealed this week,” of which NateTheHate said is “accurate”. There were hopes it would be revealed at State of Play instead due to previous Resident Evils getting announced at PlayStation shows, but that didn’t happen so hopefully we do see the return of Resident Evil at SGF.

It also seems possible we might get a shadowdrop for ARC Raiders from the developers behind The Finals. As noticed on social media, a Steam update for the game recently added a .EXE file which has a countdown that ends in conjunction with SGF. It’s speculated that this countdown could possibly be a shadowdrop release or simply the start of another beta/playtest.

Although for the Xbox Showcase rather than Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, MP1st reports that we will also finally get the reveal of a remake for Persona 4. It will presumably be a remake of Persona 4 Golden rather than the original experience, and it will supposedly be slated for early 2026.

While not particularly leaked, we’re praying there will be the reveal of Tomb Raider 12. NateTheHate said “at least one” of Tomb Raider, Wolf Among Us 2, and 007 will be at Geoff Keighley’s show. 007 already materialized at State of Play, and its gameplay will be shown off at an IO Interactive showcase. We’re hoping this means the reveal of Tomb Raider 12 is still possible, but we’d advise not holding your breath.

There has also been leaks of a new God of War game said to be a 2.5D Metroidvania. This comes courtesy of Tom Henderson, and other leaks have suggested it is a prequel before Kratos became a God, and it could star Kratos’ brother, Deimos. This God of War didn’t show up at State of Play, so perhaps it will at Summer Game Fest as reports have previously indicated a 2025 release for a GoW side adventure.

Confirmed games

Games already confirmed for Summer Game Fest 2025 include The First Descendant. Nexon have announced on X that TFD will be part of Geoff Keighley’s show, and it will presumably showcase more of what’s to come in Season 3.

Mafia The Old Country is also confirmed for the show, and this will be a great way to see the game again ahead of its impending release date of August 8th. 505 Games has also confirmed that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be at SGF to promote ahead of its release date, July 24th.
