Tales from Hawkins, The Magic Order 5, Spiral City, and more! — GamingTrend Comics

We’re back to recap a great week of comics we read here at GamingTrend.com! We have three comics from Dark Horse Comics this week with an interview from Momocon at the end! There’s something for everyone from some of our favorite comic runs!
Stranger Things: Tales from Hawkins II – Issue #2/4
Poor Will Byers not only had to deal with everything we saw in Season 1 of the hit Netflix show, Stranger Things, but bullying we didn’t see on the screen. While Will’s character was hit and miss at different times in the show, this story is truly a wonderful representation of the best of the character.
Will struggles with how the world is treating its new “Zombie Boy” and it isn’t going well. Does he recover from this trauma? Read Issue #2 and find out for yourself!

The Magic Order 5 – Issue #4/6
We get the backstory to one of the coolest characters in the run so far! With his trio of nightmares at his disposal to help Cordelia, how did his life get him this far?
This comic thrives on its amazingly interesting world-building with some fabulous art. We’re near endgame for The Magic Order 5, so be prepared for some wild things to happen in the next two issues!

Black Hammer: Spiral City – Issue #5/7
Things just keep getting worse for our “heroes” with no signs of stopping. While each of our protagonists are doing the best they can, the reality is that the world as a whole doesn’t want them to exist.
These are sentient beings who care about the world around them. Inspector WANTS to help others. Our Concrete friend WANTS to help. Some are just misunderstood. This is shaping up to be a really interesting ending for the series, I’ll want more already though.
