There’s Unfinished Business in Robocop: Rogue City’s Standalone Expansion on PS5

If you’ve already played RoboCop: Rogue City – and, honestly, you should have done – then you’ll have a good idea of what to expect from standalone expansion, Unfinished Business.
Due out on 17th July, which is little over a week away, the game’s promising more of Teyon’s hyper-violent first-person action.
But this trailer does a good job of outlining exactly what you can expect: new story, new enemies, and new weapons.
While most of the campaign will take place in OmniTower, there’ll also be flashbacks depicting some of protagonist Alex Murphy’s activities before he was turned into the eponymous Robocop. The trailer confirms you’ll even get to take control of ED-209 for a little bit.
Personally, we’re fond of standalone expansions like this. Games take so long to make these days, there’s really nothing wrong with recycling a bunch of the existing assets and offering a little more.
Obviously Unfinished Business is still going to need to stand on its own two cybernetic feet, but it looks like there’s enough fresh content in this to make it worthwhile for fans of the original game.
The question is: how’s your hype holding out? Are you a fan of the original Rogue City and looking for a little more? Or have you already had your fill of this particular shooter? Let us know in the comments section below.
