Ukrainian devs Cheers LLC bring puzzle-metroidvania Neanderthallica to Linux and macOS
Neanderthallica blends a prehistoric world with a twist of sci-fi, a puzzle-metroidvania that’s now supported on Linux and macOS.
In the game you have to master the ability to change the weather, altering the environment and battles. Craft unique gear and weapons, and explore hidden secrets as you journey through humour-filled stone age. Originally released in June, the game received an update August 15th as part of the Ukrainian Games Festival which added in Native versions for Linux and macOS. The update also fixes up a few issues and makes combat feel “punchier”.
