Upin & Ipin universe launches on consoles and PC on July 17

Les’ Copaque Production, Streamline Studios, and Streamline Media Group announced that Upin & Ipin Universe will debut on July 17 on the PC and consoles.

The highly anticipated open-world adventure game inspired by Southeast Asia’s beloved Upin & Ipin cartoon series, will officially launch on July 17. The game will be available for PC on Steam and Epic Game Store, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Nintendo Switch, marking a major milestone for the globally recognized franchise.

Revealed during the Southeast Asia Summer Showcase, Upin & Ipin Universe captivated audiences with its vibrant first gameplay trailer. The footage offered a glimpse into the game’s culturally rich world, blending nostalgia with cutting-edge gaming mechanics. As an open-world adventure, the game invites players to explore the everyday wonders of traditional Southeast Asian life through interactive storytelling and immersive exploration.

It’s a big game release for Malaysia’s Les’ Copaque Production, Streamline Studios and Streamline Media group. It’s a groundbreaking move for the Southeast Asian entertainment and gaming industries to create a game for the global stage.

Les’ Copaque Production in partnership with Streamline Studios, developed an open-world game with a 12+ hour narrative campaign aimed to resonate with a global audience while staying true to its roots.

The game’s design celebrates the essence of Southeast Asian culture, making it a culturally rich, family-friendly adventure. Upin & Ipin Universe will be showcased for the first time at the Japan Expo in Paris on July 3, as well as at a press conference on July 4th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, officiated by the Minister of Digital, YB Gobind Singh Deo.
