What are the Hardest Trophies and Achievements to Win in Elden Ring Nightreign

What are the Hardest Trophies and Achievements to Win in Elden Ring Nightreign

In a game with no real saves, Elden Ring Nightreign pushes you to accomplish as much as possible in a certain timeframe. Dying can quickly set you back, and you always restart at the bottom of the barrel with each run. So getting all 37 achievements in a single run is downright impossible.

The new system and vendor come with a whole slew of new options in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Several achievements in Elden Ring Nightreign are automatically unlocked after reaching a certain threshold. But there are some that are difficult to get, more so if you’re playing solo. For all you dedicated achievement hunters, these trophies may require quite a few hours of your time to earn.

Set and Steadfast

Acquire High-Rarity Equipment in One Expedition

Set and Steadfast achievement in Nightreign

This Nightreign achievement is difficult for anything related to your skills. Instead, it’s something that’s easily missed. As it says, you’ll need to have high-rarity equipment in your inventory in a single expedition. So, fill all 6 weapon slots and 5 item slots with purple rarities.

The issue is that many players get rid of purple items as they quickly find much better equipment. To unlock this, you’re essentially forced to hold items and weapons that won’t do you much with fighting. A good way to do this is to rotate the good stuff out for purple items dropped by teammates. It saves you from looking for more, and you can quickly get back your good stuff once the achievement unlocks.

Any Raid-Based Achievement

More Luck-Based Than Anything

There are a total of 4 raid-related achievements in Nightreign:

  • Fell Omen: Fell Omen Raid
  • Plague of Locusts: Sentient Pest Raid
  • Typhoon: Augur Raid
  • True Arbiter: Equilibrious Beast Raid

These are roped into one category here because, although all you need to do is complete the raid to get each achievement, the problem is getting the raids. You’re never fully guaranteed to see a certain raid during any run, making these achievements luck-based more than skill-based.

Every FromSoftware game needs a duo fight, and Gnoster is just that fight for Elden Ring Nightreign.

Some players can go hours on end without ever seeing specific raids, leaving some of these achievements unearned. Just prepare to spend a good deal of time doing run after run. Or maybe luck is on your side and you’ll experience all of the raids before you know it.

3

Mastery

Earn the Highest Level Possible

The highest level you can achieve is Level 15. You’ll gain levels rather quickly in the beginning, which is helpful because the difficulty between the earlier levels is massive. But for our solo players out there, hitting Level 15 is not the easiest task. There’s a good chance you’ll run out of time before you can get enough experience.

One of the best ways to earn this achievement is by playing with others. Not only that, but play well as a team. Work together to clear out both bosses and mini-bosses fast, more so in the castles as those areas are usually filled with XP. Cooperation is key to getting everything done and leveling up before it all ends and resets your level again.

2

A Champion’s Path

Defeat the Nightlord with All Characters

A Champion's Path achievement in Nightreign

The achievement here is rather straightforward: you need to fully finish an expedition with each of the eight character classes. So, it obviously needs multiple runthroughs. This is also one of the more skill-related achievements in Elden Ring Nightreign. Not everyone can play every class, and not every character is easy to play.

Revenant and Executor, for example, require a good deal of finesse to master. The former forces you to understand how to properly manage her summons, while the latter relies on well-timed parrying to survive. They’re both excellent characters though, and when you understand them, they can carry you and your team through any run. If you take your time, you can successfully learn to play with anyone. You’ll just have to step outside your usual comfort zone and embrace a new character or class.

Nightlord Slayer

Defeat Three Different Nightlords in a Row

One of the most difficult achievements in Elden Ring Nightreign that is100% skill-centric is Nightlord Slayer. This is because you not only have to finish three expeditions, you have to do so in a row without dying in between them. One failure sets you back to square one. The best way to earn this achievement and get that much closer to 100% trophy completion is to have a great team.

Going at it with complete strangers makes this tougher, so it is easier if you’re tackling these expeditions with friends. At least you’re aware of everyone’s skill level so you know there’s a better chance of surviving and beating the endgame boss. A cool thing about this though is that you can combine getting the achievement with other trophies. You can do this and perhaps finish A Champion’s Path or Mastery all at the same time, cutting back on how many runs you may have to go through.
