What Review Score Would You Give Death Stranding 2?

We hope you’ve been having fun trotting around the atmospheric landscapes of Death Stranding 2 over the last week or so, because it’s time to give Kojima Productions’ latest a rating of your own.
Needless to say, this globe-trotting PS5 sequel has been really well received, both by critics and fans of the first game. The original Death Stranding was somewhat divisive because of its unorthodox gameplay — and Kojima’s trademark narrative wackiness — but we like to think that everyone can agree on the title’s overall production quality.
Death Stranding 2 follows through on that side of things, boasting some of the best visuals and performance capture you’ll find in modern gaming, but the developer’s also fleshed out the gameplay systems to a significant degree.
“In what will prove to be one of the defining games of the PS5 generation, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a profound achievement of design, gameplay, narrative, and visuals,” is what we wrote in our glowing Death Stranding 2 PS5 review.
“An immense upgrade on the first game, the sequel is an unequivocal masterpiece,” we concluded, awarding the release an extremely rare 10/10.
