Yes, Death Stranding Is Getting an Anime As Well

Not content with a poncy A24 adaptation, auteur Hideo Kojima has told Vogue Japan that Death Stranding is also getting an anime.
While talking about the film, the Metal Gear man confirmed the existence of an anime as well.
“As a film enthusiast, I want to pursue the expressive potential of cinema,” he said, as spotted by VGC.
“I aim to create a Death Stranding that can only be realised through film, one that could win awards at festivals like the Cannes Film Festival or the Venice Film Festival. In fact, we are also currently working on an anime adaptation.”
This isn’t the first time Kojima has mentioned anime as a potential venue for future Death Stranding stories, but then it seemed more like an idea, where now it sounds like something more concrete is in the works.
