Spooky 2D co-op submarine sim Barotrauma is getting a big Home & Harbor expansion
Daedalic Entertainment and developers Undertow Games and FakeFish recently revealed the Home & Harbor expansion for Barotrauma. A large free update for all players will release at the same time. It’s not due until next year though.
It’s been a while since I played Barotrauma, but I have some fond memories of getting a bit scared and flailing around with GamingOnLinux contributor Samsai a while back. Good fun. Silly and spooky with a lot to do and a whole lot that will go wrong in the deep dark waters.
The DLC will have these main features:
- Base Building: For the first time, players can gain ownership of their own outpost. Customize, upgrade, expand, manage, and defend your base, unlocking perks to boost your campaign progress and crafting a true home beneath Europa’s icy seas.
- New Faction – The Descendants: Meet the Descendants, a mysterious, high-tech faction whose origins date back to the earliest days of human settlement on Europa. Their unique storyline introduces new challenges, secrets, and rewards that will reshape how players engage with the game world.
Barotrauma | Release Date: 5th June 2019
