Victory Road Delayed To November

Victory Road Delayed To November

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road by Level-5 has now been delayed from its initial August release date to a November timeframe. In a social media post on Friday, the developer explained that it needs additional time for voice recording and multi-language localization, so the gme has been delayed by multiple months. The date has been adjusted to “ensure the best possible quality.”

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to all the fans who have been eagerly waiting for a long time, and truly appreciate your understanding and continued support,” said the Inazuma series X account on Friday. The game has been delayed from August 21 to November 13, which is an additional 84 days on the calendar.

Fans don’t sound too happy with this news on X. “You have the worst schedule planning ever,” said ActualBomboclat on the social media platform. “This game was supposed to release in December 2023.” Others said that they wouldn’t mind the dub becoming a DLC later on, with just the Japanese voice-over being fine for the launch.

Those who haven’t pre-ordered the game yet, however, will thankfully get more time to get the exclusive bonus: the Advanced Booster Bundle. According to the Steam page, it includes:

  • Bracelet of Victory (equipment that boosts EXP gained)
  • Complete Set of Training Beans (consumables used in character training)
  • Dark Emperors Kit

The Wait Might be Worth It

Hopefully, the wait for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will be worth it when it finally launches this November. It sounds expansive as it features a new story within the universe with a new protagonist, Destin Billows, to play as. Additionally, there are over 5,200 characters to collect and train for your squad, which is massive. The story takes place 25 years after the first game. Billows joins South Cirrus Junior High and helps form a football/soccer team that will hopefully rival the prestigious Raimon Junior High, who are the top team in the nationals. Maybe you’ll beat Harper Evans’ team.

The last game to release for this series was 2014’s Inazuma Eleven GO: Light & Shadow on the Nintendo 3DS.

There is also the Chronicle Mode, which has you play past matches in the series with Victorio, a boy who comes from the future. Like the story mode, you’ll be collecting and training characters, hoping to build the ultimate team.

Fans of the Inazuma Eleven anime may be happy to know the cutscenes for Victory Road will be made by the studio MAAPA. This game will have the longest runtime of animation within the Level-5 series.

Review: EA SPORTS FC 25

EA SPORTS has introduced FC IQ to EA SPORTS FC 25 that aims to overhaul the gameplay and add some strategy to building teams and approaching game day.

Thankfully, other football games have launched in 2025 to help pick up the slack. Rematch is a thrilling footie title by the developer of Sifu, Sloclap. The skill-based gameplay feels similar to Rocket League in aspects but has actual human players rather than cars. There are also no fouls or offsides to distract you from the exciting game. “Rematch has the potential to be the next Rocket League with its engrossing mechanics, rewarding team play, and stylized aesthetic,” said our sister site GameRant‘s 7/10 review.

FC 26 is also on the way this September with Jude Bellingham, Jamal Musiala, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic as cover stars for the sports game.
